There are several sites dedicated to people of African decent, such as afroconnections, ebonymate and blacksingles.
This one is really focused on finding an African wife — seems a little bit like mail order brides! They promote all those fantasy benefits of a girl from the old country: “Women from Africa are noted for their beauty, grace, charm and loyalty” etc etc
I guess if you really are interested in finding someone of African heritage, and are willing to make a relationship work long distance then this is a way to go. Of course the internet is the place for long distance relationships so this should be a place to start.
They are conscious of the fact that you will want to meet up one day though so they even have a section on visa information — not much info really, just a definition of what sort of visas exist and a bunch of links to immigration departments of major countries.
